A visit to this sweet gallery makes  for a great day hop.  Located just off Route 25 midway between Portland, ME and Ossippee, NH., Local Color Artisan' Gallery is housed in a recycled antique Texaco service station and features a quality selection of local artist's  works ranging from textiles, framed art, jewelry and handcrafted furniture. Test drive my New Englander Chair. And don't forget to go across the street to the Bay Haven Lobster Pound for a bite to eat.Their lobster rolls and clam chowda are fantastic.
